Meet  with a certified master level teacher weekly for:
Benefits include:
  • Parents remain in control of their child's education. Parents may choose the curriculum used or rely on me to choose it for them.

  • Children are engaged, challenged and are working on what they and their parents want them to work on.

  • Assignments are aligned with Georgia state standards.

  • Testing, planning, grading and record keeping are all done for parents- all that is left  is to enjoy the homeschooling.

How it works:

Student meets with me for evaluation and testing. Levels, stregnths and weaknesses are determined.

  • Curriculum is reviewed and selected. Parents may already know what they would like used. This is fine. If not, suggestions will be made for the student based on the testing and evaluation. Parents are responsible for the purchase of the curriculum items that are needed.

  • A schedule is written up and assignments are given to the student.  When the student leaves the weekly appointment, he/she knows exactly what should be comleted by the next week. Meetings can be done via email and over the web if desired. I am  available to help during the week if a question arises.

  • Students meet with the teacher at the assigned date and time to reveiw the work, ask questions and to get the assignments for the following week.  If unit ends are reached, testing will be done during this time unless tests are included in the weekly assignments. Again, meetings may done over the web and through email if desired.

  • The fee for this is $150 a month for the first child in a family and $125 a month for additional children. If you refer someone and they sign up for this service, you will receive $25 off of your next month bill as a thank you!

  • A portfolio will be maintained to measure success throughout the year.

  • Attendance can easily be tracked through the assignment sheets for core academic subjects as well as for classes such as Art, Music, P.E. and Health that students may get elsewhere.

  • Standardized testing will be offered at the end of the school year in May for an additional fee.
