Workshops  follow a monthly calendar.

 

Classes are limited to 6-12 students per workshop, with the exception of P.E. or other outdoor activities. When needed, another adult will assist.  

 

Sign up by sending me an email with your child's name and age and I will reply with a registration form for you to bring with you and directions to the workshop.

 

Most Workshops are $35. (Science is $50 to cover supplies) and meet at my home in the Macedonia-Freehome area of Canton. All supplies (except novels) are included so all your child needs to bring is a happy attitude and lunch or a snack if he/she is staying longer than one class period.

 

 P.E. classes meet at various parks around the area and are $15 per month for the first 1 or 2 children in your family. Each additional 1-2 is $10. So, if you have 3 or 4 children, the fee for your family is $25 a month. The fifth and sixth child bring your family's monthly P.E. bill to $35. If you have more than 6 children, just add $10 for every 1-2 children.   
 

Class fees will be pro-rated for holiday and vacation weeks, but the month must be paid for in advance. Payments are accepted by cash, credit card or through Paypal (cantonhomeschooleducation@gmail.com).   

 

 All day Wednesday students will have a significant amount of Language Arts and can take home extra activities for American History as well. If parents would like additional activities and ideas for the rest of the week for these courses, please let me know. I am happy to supply you with activity list each week.  Please note that students enrolled in workshops are still homeschool students and the parent is still the instructor. I am offering a supplemental resource and not taking on your child's academic career like a private school. ;)

 

If you would like me to come to your homeschool group or your local library or anywhere to host a workshop, just let me know! I am happy to do it! Just know, that odds are, my three children (9,11 and 12) will be with me! I am a homeschool mom and tend to bring my kids everywhere!! Know the feeling? 

Registration is month to month. Current students aalways have first choice for the following months. All open spots as of the 15th of each month that are not filled by current students will be opened up to everyone. These classes can build on themselves each month. Students are encouraged to stay from month to month to get the most out of the course. A discount will be offered to those who wish to seure a semester or year long spot.
